We are a rainbow, snow and the weather map.
We are are all dressed up as types of weather or symbols on the weather map.

The Weather Dudes performing on stage!!
Waiting excitedly for our turn on stage.

In Term 2 we did a huge inquiry on Weather and then put on a presentation at the Aurora Centre. Room 7 did a cool rap dance to The Weather Dude.
We studied the punnet of pansies closely. We looked at the veins in the flowers, the number of petals and the way the petals oiverlapped. We did observational drawings.

We also looked at other artist's drawings of pansies.
We used pastels to draw our panisies. You can mix pastels really well.

It takes concentration to be a good artist!

This is our class this year - we are all in Year 4.

We have set ourselves lots of challenges this year and enjoy seeing our progress.
We are starting up our blog again. It is now Term 3 2010 and there are new class members in Room 7.

We have done some amazing art and want to share that with everyone.

Hannah's Problem!

We are so concerned about Hannah's wheelchair and it being too small. We all want to get the best for Hannah because she has some disabilities and having a wheelchair too small is getting in the way.We asked the Health Department for a new wheelchair in August 2008!They said wait till 2010 and that is not urgent but it is.Hannah was had the same wheelchair since 2008!A new wheelchair will be a great Christmas present for her and it is her birthday in December too.

Room 7 love having Hannah as a class member. At the moment we are fighting for her to get a new wheelchair. We can't understand why she has to put up with the old chair.
