Wind Wand(s)

Our wind wands.
One is made of only pumice, and the other 2 are pumice and drift- wood, from Lake Taupo. Here is a picture of what they look like.

To make them, we needed the help of Mr. Hack to cut the logs in halves. Then we used a power drill to drill a hole for the pole to go through. Then we drilled holes through the pumice and drift-wood and slid them down the pole. We did it again and again until we ran out of it.Then we put them in the native bush as shown above. We learned that we can make funky things from Mother Nature!

  1. Your wind wands look amazing Room 7! They certainly enhance our native area. You are so clever. If Mr Greenwood sees them he will want one for our garden!
You are awesome artists - and so lucky to have such a creative teacher!
